On this week of wildly fluctuating winter weather, let’s envision summer fun, shall we? We’re doing things differently this year and instead of producing a full summer camp guide, we are partnering with a select group of camps to give you a more detailed look into some amazing ways your kids can learn, grow, and have fun this summer.

Our first spotlight feature is pretty magical in its range of options! For kids ready for a classic sleep away camp experience, there’s the award-winning overnight camp YMCA Camp Takodah in Richmond, NH. For kids who thrive in the art and design space, there’s Minni Summer Program in Boston. For kids who want a full menu of half or full day camp activities like sports, STEAM, and more there’s LINX Camps in Wellesley. For teens looking to explore a wide array of creative mediums (animation, fine arts, dance, and more) in a day or boarding environment, there’s Putney Summer Arts in Putney, VT. And for kids looking to cultivate a connection to the natural world via farms, fields, woods or waves, there’s The Trustees Summer Camp at multiple locations in Massachusetts.
