Creative Ways To Get Kids Talking

Creative Ways To Get Kids Talking

Back in the spring when I was interviewing people about how they get their kids talking, it was so interesting to see these three common themes emerge. It offered evidence that great minds think alike, and also showed how parents take different (clever!) approaches to the same common themes. While I was interviewing people, I also uncovered some creative ways to get kids talking and wanted to share those nuggets of brilliance today!

Check out the below video for some fun, creative ideas (like, even Snapchat!) for how to communicate with your kids. I’m sharing this post via my work with Responsibility.org’s #TalkEarly program. This organization is about alcohol responsibility, but the core of their work lies in helping parents foster a lifetime of conversations with kids. Such excellent, important work -- be sure to check them out!

Disclosure: This post was inspired by my work as part of Responsibility.org’s #TalkEarly program. All thoughts and opinions are, of course, my own.
