10th Birthday Giveaway: Uncommon Goods!

About 12 years ago, when babies came into the picture and my very large family of origin decided to put an end to obligatory grown-up gifting, I discovered how much I love giving gifts. Total reverse psychology, I know! But truly, once the stress of obligation was lifted and I was left to my own devices, I discovered such joy in finding cool, unique gifts for cool, unique loved ones.

And speaking of unique gifts, have you heard of Uncommon Goods? They have gifts for all occasions, and given some upcoming events, I’ve been eyeing their wedding, birthday and anniversary sections. Here are some of my favorite picks: 1) I’m usually a gold accessories girl, but this trinity wooden cuff is stunning. 2) This scratch map would make a great gift for a couple who is forging a new life together or for a travel-loving family. 3) Soaps rank among my favorite clutter-free gifts -- these tea, wine, flower, or chocolate 4-packs are awesome! 4-5) For music enthusiasts, this pick punch makes good use of old gift or credit cards, and I am seriously contemplating ordering the DIY ukulele kit (only $40!). 6) And finally, this herb garden + self-cleaning fish tank is the most brilliant thing ever. Laurel and Violet have been asking for a pet and I like herbs, so, well, PERFECTION.

Now, how cool this this? In honor of the Boston Mamas 10th Birthday Celebration, Uncommon Goods is gifting one lucky winner with a $250 gift card -- WOO HOO!
