Weekly Blueprint

bean-salad-petit-elefant.jpgHappy September everyone -- I hope you had a wonderful long weekend! I made good on my low key intentions and Laurel and Violet were just over the moon to have so much family hang out time. We spent a lot of time in our little backyard relaxing, snacking, and tidying up our yard and prepping for and planting a new tree. Yay, for new growth! I hope you're all gearing up for a wonderful school year. Here are some fun events and interesting reading to consider in this week's Weekly Blueprint:
September 4: Rock out with Vanessa Trien in Natick.

September 4-9: For those who love antiques.

September 6: Book a sitter. It's Fashion's Night Out.

September 6-9: It's time for the Franklin County Fair.

September 7: Keep summer going with this beach party.

September 7: Enjoy a Fresh Pond walk.

September 7-9: It's time for the Sterling Fair.

September 7-9: Celebrate windmills!

And elsewhere around the web:

  • This was my favorite post last week.

  • Thanks to Cool Mom Tech for sharing about Spokeo's creeptastic database (and how to get your personal information off it!).

  • What's not to love about winning a design consult with the delightful Design Mom?

  • Duct tape = all the rage!

  • And speaking of duct tape, my super smart fellow Bibliomotion author Vicki Hoefl's new book is out: Duct Tape Parenting: A Less Is More Approach to Raising Respectful, Responsible, and Resilient Kids. Yay, Vicki!

  • What to do if you are suffering from thrush.

  • I am all over this bean salad this week.
