This morning I'm on a bit of a music high after reuniting yesterday (after 22 years!) with three of my beloved high school music teachers and about 20 fellow graduates for a mini alumnae/i reunion. I hadn't played violin in 6+ years but it was amazing that the muscle memory (even playing in 5 flats...eep!) came back. Music was my happiest place during high school...what a gift.
