Weekly Blueprint

frog-pond.jpgHappy rainy Monday -- I hope you all had a great weekend! Among other things, this weekend Jon and I celebrated our 12th anniversary -- both via an evening out (huge thanks to my sister and her partner for babysitting!) and thanks to the insanely yummy chocolate cake Laurel made us (we ate it for breakfast yesterday morning). So sweet! Meanwhile, I hope you're gearing up for a lovely week and that the kids are hanging in there as the school year winds down to a close. Here are some handy/fun ideas to consider in this week's Weekly Blueprint:
June 5: Travel the world!

June 5: Bring your baby to a matinee.

June 5: If you missed the touch a truck events this past weekend, your kid can get his/her fill of farm machinery.

June 5: Free yoga at the pond. (And yes, that is one of my awesome sisters teaching the class!)

June 5-7: Ice cream as far as the eye can see.

June 7: Celebrate the first Thursday of the month.

June 8: Share your family pride.

June 8: A family friendly beach party.

June 8: My brilliantly funny friend Jenny Lawson will be reading at Brookline Booksmith.

June 8-10: Enjoy Greek delights.

And a few other things:

  • I want to try this cucumber lime spritzer this week.

  • Send your best shot.

  • Some great positive summer perspective fodder for work at home parents.

  • Care to share your brilliance about holidays and special occasions and self-care?

  • And in case you missed these great posts last week: 8 summer activity ideas for kids, the music system that's been rocking my world, rock the pride, 12 point of marital gratitude.
