Weekly Blueprint

turtles.jpgHappy Monday and first day of October everyone -- I hope you had a great weekend! I did a quick trip to Las Vegas to help host a More Birthdays event at the wonderful Blogalicious conference. It was a terrific event and I'm also glad to be home! This week I'm planning on spending lots of time with Jon and the girls before I depart for Ethiopia on Saturday. Meanwhile, here are some fun events and good reading to consider in this week's Weekly Blueprint. Have a great week!
October 1: All about apples.

October 2: Explore a garden.

October 2: Read, build, and play in West Brookfield.

October 2: Animal exploration.

October 3: Sukkot on the street. (Brookline)

October 3: For those who love turtles.

October 4: Let's all read for the record.

October 4: It's time for the haunted happenings parade!

October 4: Explore autumn treasures.

October 5: All about milk.

October 5-8: Get out and HONK!

October 5-8: Experience the magic of Hans Christian Andersen.

October 5-8: For Thomas fans.

Now through October 8: Boatloads of fair fun.

Also, I recently resolved my broken RSS feed situation (yay for Google reader!) so hope to get back to sharing my favorite reads of the week more regularly:

  • Five ways to use music to help kids with special needs.

  • I've recently revamped an online running support effort with some friends. Are you running a race this fall? Add yours to the roster of awesome.

  • Jess had me at affordable accesories.

  • Follow these steps so your private Facebook messages don't show up in your timeline. (GAH.)

  • And if you haven't been here in a while, check out these recent posts: what to do when when you find your child playing doctor, five mighty accessories, five kids meals that kids can help make, how to engage kids in chores, wicked fast dinners, engaging kids in
