Weekly Blueprint

fairy-door.jpgHappy Monday friends -- I hope you had a delightful weekend! I spent the weekend with one goal in mind: to relax and restore since I've been fighting a cold while burning the midnight oil to finish the first draft of Minimalist Parenting (which Asha and I did on Friday -- yay!). Though I had to bail on one commitment, it was a lovely weekend, and now the reality that school finishes next week is starting to sink in (how it possible that Laurel will be entering third grade in the fall?). Anyway, while I dwell in my nostalgia, I hope you're gearing up for a great week! Here are some handy/fun ideas to consider in this week's Weekly Blueprint:

June 11: Bikes + BBQ FTW!

June 11: A yoga/art workshop for kids.

June 12: If you need help with challenging preschooler behavior.

June 13: For those who believe in fairies.

June 13: Play in the park.

June 14: What will likely be a gorgeous island field trip.

June 15: Welcome back free Friday flicks!

June 15-17: Browse pretty arts and crafts.

June 15-17: Party by the river.

And elsewhere around the web:

  • The people you need on your side during divorce.

  • How to avoid the lunchbox rut during the final stretch (my latest column at Stonyfield!).

  • Why are so many celebrities adopting black babies?
