I'm not sure whether it was due to the bright red body, big eyes, or easy-to-articulate name, but Elmo was Laurel's "lovey" as a toddler. So much so that we had two of them (Elmo #2 served well when Elmo #1 got dragged through the mud, thrown up or sneezed on, or temporarily lost). And fellow Sesame Street fans will rejoice: Elmo & Friends shows at the Agganis Arena in Boston for seven performances between April 20-22. Also, during the hour before the show, families can enjoy a play zone that will no doubt offer plenty of cute photo opps (think child in Big Bird's nest, Oscar's trash can, etc.).
