Well, friends, my due date is St. Patrick's Day, but clearly, I'm not going to be the only lucky one. I adore the Flip camcorder; I carry mine everywhere and it has proven fantastic for capturing video for family (far away relatives need not worry about missing out on Laurel's school plays and concerts), work (the tech guys at Life.Style have been super impressed with the quality of my on the fly interview footage), and fun (thanks to the easy interface I set up a YouTube channel...I'm a little shocked by how many people have viewed my Straight No Chaser clips). As a working mom, there are things that I miss during my child's day. A Flip would allow me to view the special - or just everyday - moments.

Oh, how I miss my flip. Our 1 year old puppy decided it was really yummy and chewed on the screen. It was trashed. :( Now we have a 4month old baby that needs to be recorded!!!

OMG!!! I have wanted one of these for FOREVER!!!!! The first thing that I would record would probably be my son's 6th bday... it is on the 23rd! If not that, his spanish class... he just started attending and it is so CUTE!!!!!

Wow,what wouldn't we capture?! The kids playing, their gymnastics, swimming and theater events. I'd finally film yoga classes for my students to use at home. And of course I'd film silly songs during car trips. The color and theme of this flip are just perfect, too.

I have been craving a Flip for so long! I don't take nearly enough video of my three little ones, and would probably record everything... dance parties, light saber battles, spontaneous backyard baseball games, princess dress-up, you name it. I hope I win, thanks for the chance!

I would love to have this thing in my purse (or, I guess, diaper bag soon...). First thing I'd record is my big kids singing the Northwestern University fight song. They know the whole thing! Unless I get it in time to record Baby E's homecoming, then it will just be shaky and a lot of background audio of me blubbering.

I have a wide range in age for my boys, from High School down to Elementary School...I now understand what my mom always meant by how QUICKLY time passes, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be able to carry this around in my pocketbook, so I can capture all the "little" moments, while I still have them all under one roof :) Whenever I drag out the "big" camera, they know that they're being recorded and clam right up, I think a smaller more discreet camera would really help me capture those moments

Omigosh, Yes please! I've been swooning over the Flip for awhile. I've never had a camcorder but I've realized how useful and fun it would be to have one and certainly a step up from the grainy 15 second videos my cell phone captures.

My two sons (5&8) love trains. Near us we have this train club/ park that you can ride small trains around a track in the park. My boys love standing on the side and scream with excitement when a certain train runs by. I am amazed by their knowledge of trains (ie where they are from, passenger or cargo, steam or diesel). Times like that are spontaneous and should be captured on video.

I would love to have a Flip to record my youngest talking. She has a developmental delay in speech and she is just figuring out how to talk, but for now all the little words she does say is sooooo cute ("otay" "tookies")and I wish I could record them to show her later. She has come a long way and we are so proud of her!

Oooops! My second child is turning two on Sunday and I have yet to take any video of her. Meanwhile, boxes of my oldest son's every moment, up to age seven, are staring at me from my closet. I don't even thing my old camera connects to a computer. I need an updated camera :)

I would love a flip camera to capture all of the everyday moments and routines I share with my daughter. She changes so quickly, I don't want to forget the moments that seem so "normal" now. I think it's good to celebrate the everyday as well as the extraordinary.

Next week! That's coming up fast. Yay! Enjoy those spring walks with baby in the sling.
So, we're buying a house...closing next month! I'd love to record the pre-during-and post of renovation since this place needs a little facelift.
And, while we're no extreme home makeover, it'll be fun to edit the footage to enjoy.
Oh, and maybe I'll film my son doing multiple forward rolls that he learned from tumbling class . . . that or his truncated ABC song that he dubs the "diet ABC's"

An unfolding case of Spontaneous Human Combustion would be the IDEAL event to record via FLIP-Cam; as that's unlikely to happen, then capturing the take-off of 1000s of migrating snow geese at Middle Creek WMA is a great FLIP-capture moment!

My Dad moved out of state last year and we're going to surprise him with a visit in June. The whole family is going to visit him and his new home. Would love to record all the kids and family together at my Dad's new home.

The first thing i'd love to film is the beautiful walk in the woods we take our dogs on plus both dogs are big hams for the camera. Also i'd love to film some of the spots were going to see as we drive across country

We'd likely give this to our daughter and I don't have the foggiest idea what she'd do. She'd probably record herself, her friends, us, outdoors, and whatever else caught her fancy. We'd then have to show her how to piece it all together, but it would make some interesting memories. :)

My family never had a video camera growing up and I'd love to have one to record my kids. My son starts Kindergarten in the fall and it would be perfect to record any plays they do, or his first sporting even this fall (hopefully t-ball). I'd also love to record my daughters 2nd birthday in April

I travel often for work and have 2 little girls 3 and 6. I would love to record my travels...(different cities, great things I see, people I work with etc), so they know how much mommy thinks of them when I'm gone, and vise vera.. Have my hubby do the same. Keep us together while we are apart.

My daughter has deformities on her hands & foot & has undergone 12 reconstructive surgeries. I would record her upcoming dr's appt. when they take off the (hopefully) final casts on her hand & foot. It will be quite a celebration to be done with this long road of procedures!

Got so many important events coming up - always asking people to take pictures for me and send them my way - for example...today is my Mom's 91st birthday and I had a Kodak instant camera while others were using their flips and phones - I felt so out of place and yet - happy for others to rescue me. the birthday parties we celebrate
as a family and our summer vacations,not to mention all the
