Birthday Giveaway: Backyard Safari Outfitters
Though our backyard is small, it gets a lot of action (I've become an expert at pitching our tent for Laurel and her friends) and apparently offers an endless source of nature treasures for kids. I love these Backyard Safari products! I only wish they'd been around when I was a child, the lantern would have been awesome and the vest is pretty cool, too.

My 4-year old grandson is a mighty bug hunter and has the bug catcher net and bug keeper that goes with this set and just loves them.
Of course, we ONLY believe in catch-and-release!

I'm not sure who would enjoy the Backyard Safari Outfitters adventure prize pack more - our son or my husband! One thing for sure is that what goes on in the backyard stays in the backyard... especially with the bug vacuum! :)

My grandaughter was born and bred a townie but last year we moved into the country and she has been busy this summer getting to know her hew habitat and not always happily. One evening I was at my computer when I heard a scream from heck only to discover that a bat had gotten into the house and had an encounter with her. After getting her out of her closet and sending the frightened bat on its merry way I commenced educating my grandaughter about bats and how important they are and how their dinner is the mosquitoes that keep biting her. We have two bat houses now at the edge of the forest. Am thinking of getting her the Backyard Safari Outfitters Bug Vacuum Bug Habitat Combo for her birthday. Know she would love it as it looks like such fun.
