February Vacation: Get Crafty
If you’ve followed my February vacation week itinerary so far (and taken in a show, visited museums, enjoyed the great outdoors, and visited your local library), you’re probably ready to take it down a notch and relax at home. Enjoy some extra time in your jammies and get crafty with your kids. The art supply & toy and arts & crafts archives are full of ideas, but here are some great projects that require only basic supplies:

Wow! This is taking it down a notch, Christine? Actually, your list will make my daughter's day tomorrow ... though I might only let her pick 2 of these ideas (of course, you know she'll go right for the tie dye and play dough). Today, she made a poster of what she did over vacation, and wrote a speech she plans to give in class which ends with: "Thank you very much. Comments? Questions?" Look out Robert Gibbs.
