Birthday Giveaway: Tactile Baby
When it comes to toys, I always opt for wood over plastic, both for eco reasons and because I admire those who do woodcraft on any scale. And if you’re looking for unique wooden baby toys, consider Tactile Baby, a Boston-based maker of baby goods, including lovingly handcrafted wooden toys. For our 3rd birthday party Tactile Baby is offering one lucky winner their oak number set (hand sanded and sealed with food grade oil) + fish puzzle (poplar hardwood finished with non-toxic paint and sealer) ($75 value). I also like wooden toys. I still have some wooden puzzles from when I was a child. I especially like the numbers. The little animals make them so cute.

These are great. I cant trust the imported plastic toys, they always seem to be recalled for being toxic. I like the wood toys better. And I don't feel like I'm polluting the environment with yet more plastic.

I have always loved wooden toys. My kids like them too. They don't break and feel better in the hands then plastic. More eco friendly too! ;)
