Hip Hammock

hiphammock.jpgLaurel and I loved babywearing, but as she outgrew various slings and packs, I was resigned to hoisting her on my hip, which led to exhausted arms and the loss of hands-free babywearing. If only I had known about the Hip Hammock. This streamlined carrier comprises a soft, lined triangular hammock with two easy straps: one to secure around the waist, and a well-padded shoulder strap that goes over the head and across the chest like a messenger bag. This carrier is designed for kids 4 months to 3 years, but it’s especially fabulous for toddlers, with the open leg areas negating the pinch factor and the hands-free design allowing you to score that coffee you desperately need after a busy morning of toddler chasing.

I like the tapestry multi color

Thank you so much for this contest! With a 4 month old this would be so perfect!

I thought the new Tapestry with the Pink Flower design was beautiful. What a 'hip' way to babywear(pun intended)!

    What an outstanding idea!
I have a home daycare and this would be so helpful when trying to do things with the older kids but keeping the youngest one beside me!

I emailed my entry. These are so cool, and a lot of great fabrics too! I love the mocha option as a fabulous alternative to black.

I like the mocha nylon style! I could really use this for our trip abroad this summer with our then 17 month old! I'm trying to figure out how in the world I'm going to justify buying another carriers since she outgrew hers! This would solve that problem!!! Thanks so much for this great contest!

I really like the Tapestry multi color, pretty, but hubby could still wear it!

Awesome contest! Thanks! I'm emailing you now. :)

    great contest

I like the Tapestry Multi-Colors sling.

I like the tapestry leaf design, so pretty!

I have been using the Hotslings but I am afraid as my little one becomes more actice it is going to get more difficult to get him in and out of it. The Hip Hammock looks like a good move for me. I lke the Hemp design.

I have a four month old, this would be great for her! Thanks!
