Dear Readers: Apologies for the unusual radio silence; after attempting to fight off a bug early in the week, I took a dramatic turn for the worse following my Wednesday morning post and spent the next 36 hours shivering in the fetal position, drifting in and out of Law & Order re-runs. It seemed a bit dramatic to get flattened by the flu on the last day of winter, but it hasn’t dampened my excitement about spring’s official arrival one bit.
