Email, text messaging, and other technologically driven options offer convenience, but you can’t beat the tactile and visual experience of paper. Today, Kate reports on her recent experience with Tiny Prints (she got the Meadow Flowers cards; shown):

“Despite my love of cool technological advancements, I have remained committed to the beauty (and now novelty) of written correspondence. Tiny Prints offers cute and affordable baby- and child-related personalized stationery, as well as birth announcements, thank-you cards, and christening invitations. With a very simple two-step online process that allows cards to be individualized with a child's name or initials - the mechanism makes it easy to correct or alter the text before it is finalized - Tiny Prints offers a large range of designs to cover many different tastes and temperaments. Prices range depending on design, type style, and size of order, and all cards come with envelopes. Tiny Prints also offers the option to include photos, to have return addresses printed on envelopes, and to even receive envelopes in advance so that the labor-intensive addressing process can begin as soon as possible. Providing new parents with affordable, elegant, and easy-to-design stationery choices, Tiny Prints is a great option for anyone who wants a simple way to keep in touch or share the news of their new addition.”

Beautiful cards. Love the fam. pic ones.

I was planning a big anniversary party and was looking for unique anniversary invitations cards that I could add my own wordings. I found several sites that were very helpful, http://www.cardspersonalized.com/Adult-Birthday-Invitations-Cards/productsList-19-1.htm, http://www.cardsshoppe.com/Anniversary_Invitations/Anniversary_Invitations-15-1.htm, http://www.express-invitations.com/party_invitations/Party-Invitations-Cards.php and http://www.invitations-shoppe.com/Invitations_Cards/Christmas_Invitations_Cards-9-1.htm. I finally ordered from http://www.cardsshoppe.com and was definitely very pleased. I got lots of compliments!

There is just something timeless and fulfilling about opening your post box and pulling out an envelope from someone you care about. Paper correspondence will never ever go out of style.
