Versatile Vincents

Laurel seems predisposed to a future of warm weather leisure; she loves hotels and has expressed her excitement about summer sandals ever since the weather started to creep past freezing.
But summer feels awfully far away these days, making us that much more grateful for the versatility of Laurel’s Toni shoes by Vincent (shown; $44.95). These recently released spring kicks are about as close to sandals as we can get (via vented openings) while still offering plenty of coverage on chilly days. We also have tried the groovy, striped Smith sneaker, and in both cases love the easy Velcro fastening (which encourages Laurel to work on getting her shoes on and off on her own), and the sturdy yet lightweight, flexible construction.
Vincent’s designs are modern and hip; their collection includes cool sneakers, indoor kicks, rain and winter boots, party shoes, sandals, and clogs for pre-walkers up to big kids, each in a variety of colors. The only problem is that they don’t make sizes for adults.
