Cloth Diaper Genie

logo_changinghabits.jpg

Cotton diapers have obvious benefits: they save trees, lessen landfills, and cut taxpayers’ costs. But it’s tough to face the rigorous routine required to launder cloth diapers at home. It’s one thing to deal with a big baby blowout in the moment, it’s another thing to deal with it again at the laundry machine.

Enter Changing Habits diaper service operated out of Deerfield, MA. The owner, Donna Grybko, is a bit of a kooky koala bear but boy, is she committed to cloth diapers. She even arrived on our doorstep with the first delivery to give us a cloth diaper demo. We loved the service and it was reliable and efficient on all counts.

Changing Habits travels many miles to serve towns in Western Massachusetts and Middlesex County. Check the website for town listings then call to confirm that they can service your address.

Does anybody know of a cloth diaper service that covers the south shore?

Does anybody know of a diaper service that actually services parents in the City of Boston itself? We live in the South End and have had no luck so far.

I am the owner of Changing habits Diaper Service. I am not opposed to delivering to South Boston. I need a little encouragement. I have one customer near Tremont/Mass Ave/Washington Street area. Where would you be in comparison to there? Let me know. I need to be able to access the diapers easily and quickly when I do deliveries. If you can help accomplish that drop me a note.

i'm with shawna, desperately seeking a diaper service that covers the south shore area :( if anyone has any ideas.....

Ditto -- another request for diaper service in the south shore. Is there anything out there?

We are looking for a service that picks up dirty cloth diapers, washes them and delivers clean ones. We are in Somerville, MA.
Thank you

I too am looking for a diaper service in the Boston area, I am located in north Quincy and would love to find a service that could work for us.

I am in Wollaston/Quincy and too would like to find a diaper service starting this fall...

I also live on the south shore (Foxboro) and would love to have a diaper service that would deliver to our area.

I'm in Cambridge and looking for a cloth diaper service -- has anyone had any luck discovering one?

I live in Rockland and would love it if there were a diaper service on the so.shore. I am shocked that there isn't one!

Hi I'm actually just starting up a diaper service in North Attleboro (serving Bristol and Norfolk counties) and hope to be up and running within a month. Please let me know if you have any interest in having me serve as your diaper service provider.

Thanks,

I would like to start a cloth diaper
Service. Does anyone have any ideas how I would go about doing this? Do I need to purchase the cloth diapers upfront? Which detergent do I use to clean the diapers, and do the same cloth diapers go back to the same customer after wash or are they recycled? I live in Newark Nj and their is no one around that has this business. Thanks

Looking for a diaper service in Northbridge (next to Upton/Grafton/Mendon). Can anyone refer me to someone? I am expecting twin boys in the spring and am committed to cloth diapering but the washing in our hard water here in the Blackstone Valley has me worried.

Hello again Boston Mama users:

I am owner of Changing Habits Diaper Service. I have hopes of moving into the Milton area during the next several months. But I need a minimum of 4 customers to commit to the Milford area and the delivery dates of the babies need to be in the next 2-4 months. I am sorry I cannot travel to all the locations which seek diaper service. The expense of gasoline and salary makes it prohibitive unless there are a viable number of families in the same time requirements for service. I also need to get contact from the potential customers so I can keep track of the requests and their location. Sometimes customers transport their diapers to family and friends in towns I do deliver to so they can have service. Keep these things in mind as you consider cloth as an option.

I am looking for diaper service in Wollaston/ Quincy starting this July.

I need a diaper service for the South Boston area. I'm finding it nearly impossible to find one! I'm almost thinking of starting one--could be very lucrative!

Are there are any diaper services in the Worcester area? I live in Holden.

I'm also looking for a diaper service to Boston proper! No one seems to service downtown (the North End). Any ideas? Thanks.

I wondered if there was any chance of a service in Quincy?

I serve the Quincy area if you are interested.

Does anyone know of a diaper service that services Methuen, MA? Thanks.

I recommend Diaper Lab in Somerville.

www.diaperlab.com and retail location:
201a Highland Ave, Somerville, MA

Anyone know of a service in Wellesley, MA?

Thanks,
Bryan Fumagalli

Does anyone know of a diaper service for Cape Cod? I live in Falmouth. Thanks

It has been a while since I have posted a comment. The diaper service for the south shore stopped business at the end of May 2009. I own Changing Habits Diaper Service and have gotten 4 phone calls just this week for places around Stoughton. I hope to start a route the week of July 20 in this area. I won't make it close to Cape Cod and don't see myself getting lower than Rt 109 and east of Rt 495. But places like Milford, Holliston, Millis and Stoughton should expect to have diaper service available to them.

Donna,

Do you ever imagine delivering to Worcester?? We are dying for diaper service in Worcester County!

Looking for a diaper service in the worcester area. :) due feb 2009

hi, looking for diaper service to Dorchester, MA please reply to Lilpal1717@hotmail.com
Thanks :)

I live on the South Boston/Dorchester line and would love cloth diaper service as well. Could you deliver there?

I too would love a diaper service in Worcester!

I would also like to find one on the cape :) Maybe we can start our own lol

I am in the Lowell area- I was wondering if a cloth diaper service was near me?

Hi there. My son and his wife are living in JP and expecting their first child in early spring. Do you service this area? We have a tradition in our family of paying for a diaper service long enough to get new parents hooked!
Thanks, BE
